The on the media for this week it is talking about the right of abortion. Abortion is a topic that has always been touche. It is a topic that many people get very sucked into it. Either they are for abortion or they are against abortion. Pro life and pro choice is an ongoing was that many people have a hard time swallowing. It's either you are pro life, or you are pro choice.

"A woman must receive state-directed counseling that includes information designed to discourage her from having an abortion, and then wait 72 hours before the procedure is provided. Counseling must be provided in person and must take place before the waiting period begins, thereby necessitating two trips to the facility".
"Public funding is available for abortion only in cases of life endangerment, rape and incest, and when the procedure is necessary to prevent long-lasting damage to the woman's physical health".
So here in the place that we live in they offer the options for someone to take their choice, and believe what is right for them. In my opinion abortion is all up to the situation. If a woman was raped, abused, or forced into a marriage that they do not agree with; I believe that they have that right to abort. Having to live with that kind of trauma is hard enough as it is. If a women had intercourse willingly, and happened to get pregnant that is a different thing. She made that choice of participating in that activity, and now has the result of it. It was a conscious decision that she made. I believe abortion is not right, but it is a personal choice that someone is making, and we have to learn to respect the choices they want to make.

Social Media Campaign

My social media campaign is of a boutique here in Saint George. Bohme is a fashion forward boutique. We strive to create a friendly environment for ladies to come in and have a welcoming experience. We love to work one on one with our customer so they feel like they are shoppin for friends not with an employee.

Our marketing points

• Ladies and girls form age range anywhere from 16 and up our product is appropriate for any age range and any events. We cary anything from casual clothing to fesses appropriate enough for church, or even bridesmaids dresses 
• Ladies that are looking forward to making life long friends at a place that they love. We love to see return customers and know each other at a first name basses. 
• We don't just sell to ladies, all those gentlemen looking for a great gift for their special someone come in and ask for our input. That is one of our favorite customers because we can really creat repor not only with the ladies but also with their significant others. Men don't usually like to go into women's clothing stores, but with us building that relationship with them, they are excited to come in and shop and hang out.
  

#INAUGURATION

         This inauguration was the very first one that I have ever watched. To be quite honest it really is the saddest one that I have ever witnessed. Not only because he is everything that I am against, but he just brings so much negativity, and is not a very good person in my eyes. Going through my feed I was toggling through the live streams of  CNN, Fox, and People, and there was a lot of mixed feelings on the comments left. Fox had a lot more people rooting for trump, People had more of the people that were against his presidency, and CNN had a an equal mix of comments. On my personal feed, and the explorer on Instagram, there was a lot of negativity. I do not support him, or anything that he is trying to do, mainly because he is threatening my family, trying to take them away from me. I try to not let it affect my life, but when someone it threatening my family I can not help but let it affect me, and the way that I will react to it.

Hello my name is Leslie Garcia I am a senior here at Dixie State University. I am majoring in human communication and hope to get my masters in counseling. I am the oldest of 3, I have a brother and a sister. I am from the small town Fillmore,UT. I love to be outdoors, and explore, I always try to go to Zion at least a couple times during the summer, since it is so close to us why not take advantage of it. I have lived in Saint George for 6 years, I live with my significant other, ans we have two cute little dogs together. I wold love to one day travel to different places to see the different cultures, and become more diverse. My favorite vacation place is mexico for sure. I am Hispanic and i embrace the culture that I come from and love every minute of it.
